Launching FNB's youth account to university students during COVID-19 restrictions.
Challenge
FNB needed to launch its youth account to first-year university students during O-Week — while COVID-19 restrictions ruled out any traditional open event.
The CHANGE Effect
CHANGE created a hybrid event streamed to thousands of viewers online. To ensure guests were fully present, we took away mobile devices — a restriction that also elevated the sensory experience.
At the venue, we built a stage inside the venue's swimming pool, an unexpected visual shock-factor that became a conversation starter, and handed out branded merchandise pillows for at-home viewers.
